Resumo

The National Network Graduate Program in Chemistry (PROFQUI) is a fundamental continuous training mechanism, aligned with PNE Target 16, for qualifying Basic Education teachers. To systematically characterize its impact and the Educational Products (EPs) developed, this mixed-methods study analyzed the profile of 16 alumni (2021-2024) from the UFRN hub and 31 dissertations (2017-2024). The alumni profile is mainly male (81.2%), aged 39 on average, mostly tenured teachers (62.5%) motivated by professional recognition (80%). The EPs predominantly feature the Didactic Sequence typology (19.1%) and Didactic/Instructional Material, incorporating digital resources (21 EPs), concentrating on Inorganic and General Chemistry (43%), and aligning with Research Line 1 (42%). Co-authored scientific production with alumni is limited to 10 journal articles and 2 book chapters. It is concluded that PROFQUI effectively promotes qualification and transforms teaching practice. Collaborative actions are essential to diversify EPs and expand co-authored scientific output with the program’s alumni.
