Resumo

A health network is an important system for any country. It is a complex made up of several interconnected
components that work together to provide comprehensive health services to a population. The main
components of a health network are: primary health centers, hospitals, professionals, medicines and
supplies, etc. Green Chemistry and the Green Health Network are two concepts that are correlated in the
search for ecological and sustainable practices. Although they are distinct fields, there are connections
and possible correlations that are highlighted in this text, in which various themes are explored, such as
management aimed at minimizing the environmental impact, reduction in the use of hazardous substances,
minimization of non-recyclable or biodegradable polymeric waste, waste treatment biological products,
conscious use of disposable materials, reduction of energy consumption with efficient constructions, etc.
Aspects of energy efficiency are pillars both of green chemistry in its chemical processes and of green
health with the use of renewable energy sources. Green Chemistry collaborates immensely with health
networks, creating healthier environments.
