Proflexoral Review

I explained to the doctor Proflexoral that I had constant pain in my jaw. He instantly got angry and ordered me to leave his office. He accused me of trying to get cosmetic surgery using my insurance in a dishonest way. It was a humiliating experience. First of all, I didn't know that one of the treatments for jaw pain was surgery. Secondly, I came to realize that I apparently needed cosmetic surgery! On a side note, I was recently able to afford a chin implant. (I wish I could remember the doctor's name so that I could write him about my experience with TMJ pain and how it has been almost a constant source of misery for me for thirteen years.) Next, I went to another oral surgeon who referred me to an orthodontist. I wore braces for two years to prepare me for surgery. Interestingly, during the time that I wore rubber bands with the braces, I had no jaw pain! Anyway, when it came time for the surgery, the doctor was unable to tell me that the surgery would end my pain. He and I both opted not to do the surgery. (But, my teeth looked great!) A few years later, when I was going through a difficult time, the pain started again. This time I went to another oral surgeon. He fitted me for a mouth appliance and told me to wear it 24 hours per day for a week. Then I started only wearing it at night when I slept. This process definitely helped my condition. Any time I do any type of work, for example, painting, the pain worsens. The pain also gets worse when I am sick or in a stressful situation. I still wear an appliance at night and take a muscle relaxer every night as well. Differently from most people who complain about TMJ pain, I do not have any pain near my ears and I never have headaches or popping.
